Why am I doing this?
I have been in the Information Security industry since there was an Information Security industry to be in. I’ve held leadership roles at various companies in the finance, technology, and entertainment spaces for the past 20+ years and have learned a few things here and there. This is my way of sharing some of the things I have learned with non InfoSec folks to help protect you and your families from hackers, scams, fraud, and other risks you may encounter in an increasingly complex and confusing world that gives the advantage to the bad guys.
Yeah, I am an opinionated jerk…
This is definitely a newsletter with an opinion about the things going on in the world around us. And recent events do NOT meet with my approval. This being said, the opinions expressed in Paranoid Prose are mine and mine alone. They do not represent opinions of my employer or anyone else.
I reserve the right to inject my opinions into my writing - if the amount of annoyingness of my opinions exceeds the utility of this newsletter, please unsubscribe. My platform, my rules. I get to be the Rupert Murdoch of this little media empire.
